Presentation Guide

(General)Oral Presentation

①Presentation time
Presentation time for oral presentation is 12 minutes each (8 min. for presentation, 3 min. for Q&A, 1 minute for rotation). Presenters should pay attention not to exceed the given time frame. If the time is over, presentation is suspended.

②Presentation Method
For presentation, please use your personal computer. A projector is provided on our side.
Please make sure the connection to the projector during the break or any possible time before your presentation.
The projector has the HDMI terminal to be fitted into the projector. If necessary, please bring conversion adapter for connection to projector by yourself.
The Aspect ratio will be 4:3.
*NOTE that the meeting secretariat does not provide conversion adapters for Windows surfaces or MacBooks.

③Notes
Oral presenters are requested to declare their conflicts of interest on the second page of their slides (next to the title slide), which should be limited to the content of presentation for the 45th annual meeting. Please refer to the following COI disclosure (example) on the website of the Japanese Society for Biomaterials.

For the presentation of research results involving animals and/or humans, the presenters are required to make an appropriate experimental plan from the standpoint of animal welfare, and human rights. Also, give consideration to breeding and storage throughout the entire period for the animal experiments. In addition, sufficient consideration must be given to the spirit of animal welfare and human rights with regard to the contents of the presentation and photographs. In addition, the approval number of the relevant experimental ethics committee should be clearly indicated on the slides.
In Rooms D, all computer connections, monitor switching, operations, etc. will be done by the presenters themselves.
Please check the projection and connection during free time (morning, lunch break, break time, etc.) at each venue. No preview rooms are available.

Poster presentation

①Poster venue
a) The poster room is located on the 4th floor of the venue. For your presentation, please pick up and wear a presenter's ribbon at the poster presentation reception desk in front of the venue.
b) Poster presentations will be given on November 6th and November 7th.
November 6th, abstract numbers “1P-001~1P-140”
November 7th, abstract numbers “2P-001~2P-055”

②Poster Attachment
Posters will be displayed from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on November 6th.
Use push pins for attachment to the board. No adhesive tape is allowed.
Posters will be pasted up for two days.

③Presentation Time
The poster presentation time (discussion time) is set as follows:

November 6th 13:00 to 14:00
Presenters with presentation numbers "1P-001~1P-140"

November 7th 13:10 to 14:10
Presenters with presentation numbers "2P-001~2P-055"

Please wait in front of your presentation poster during the discussion period.
The chairperson will go around the presentation posters in turn, so please follow the chairperson's instructions and make your presentation.
Presentation time for poster presentation is 6 minutes each (3 min. for presentation, 3 min. for Q&A).

④Poster removal
Please remove your posters between 17:00 and 17:30 on November 7th.
If items are not removed within the specified time, they will be disposed of by the secretariat.

⑤Panel size
The panel size is 210cm in height and 90cm in width.
The secretariat will post the presentation number on the panel in advance.

⑥Notes
Poster presenters (and participants) are prohibited from recording or photographing other presenters' presentations or posters.
In addition, please refrain from doing anything that may interfere with poster presentations or violate rights or privacy, including uploading to SNS or video sites.

⑦Best Poster Award
Poster presentations submitted for the Best Poster Award will be made on November 6th.
The selection results for the Best Poster Award will be announced at The Closing Ceremony on November 7th, and certificates will be awarded.
